The Challenge

GenoPlay is an online marketplace for video games, consoles, accessories, and related items. The goal was a user-friendly, visually engaging, and efficient store that resonates with the vibrant gaming community and keeps the latest titles and hardware easy to find.

Problem Statement

Gamers struggled to navigate cluttered stores, shopped across multiple sources for lack of a dedicated platform, wanted personalized recommendations, faced lengthy checkouts, and needed real-time stock and release updates.

Understanding the Users

User interviews, surveys, and in-app analytics, plus competitor and trend analysis, pinpointed the discovery and checkout pain points.
